Below, we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common inquiries we receive. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for here, feel free to contact us or visit our studio, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

General Questions

1. What should I expect during my first visit? During your first visit, you’ll have a consultation with one of our artists or piercers to discuss your ideas and preferences. We’ll guide you through the process, from design selection to aftercare, ensuring you’re comfortable every step of the way.

2. Do I need to book an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins? We recommend booking an appointment to ensure you get the time and artist of your choice. However, we do accept walk-ins based on availability.

3. How should I prepare for my tattoo or piercing appointment? It’s important to be well-rested and hydrated before your appointment. Eat a good meal beforehand to maintain your energy levels. Avoid alcohol or blood thinners at least 24 hours before your session.

4. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, credit, and debit cards. Please note that some artists may require a deposit when booking an appointment.

5. What is your cancellation policy? We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your deposit.

Tattoo Questions

6. How much does a tattoo cost? Tattoo pricing varies depending on the size, complexity, and time required. We offer free consultations to provide an accurate quote based on your design.

7. Does getting a tattoo hurt? Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but most describe the sensation as uncomfortable rather than painful. Our artists are skilled in making the process as smooth as possible.

8. How long does it take for a tattoo to heal? The initial healing phase takes about 2-3 weeks, but full healing can take up to a month or longer. Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully.

9. Can I bring my own design? Absolutely! We encourage you to bring in any ideas or designs you have. Our artists will work with you to refine the design and ensure it translates well as a tattoo.

10. How do I care for my new tattoo? After your tattoo is complete, we’ll provide you with detailed aftercare instructions. Generally, you’ll need to keep the area clean, moisturized, and avoid direct sunlight or soaking in water during the healing process.

Body Piercing Questions

11. What age do I need to be to get a piercing? You must be at least 18 years old to get a piercing without parental consent. Minors aged 16-17 may get certain piercings with parental consent and valid identification.

12. How long does it take for a piercing to heal? Healing times vary depending on the type of piercing. For example, earlobes may take 6-8 weeks, while cartilage piercings can take 6 months to a year. We’ll provide specific aftercare instructions to promote healthy healing.

13. Can I bring my own jewelry for a piercing? We recommend using our high-quality, sterilized jewelry for initial piercings to ensure the best healing outcome. After your piercing has healed, you can switch to your preferred jewelry.

14. What should I do if my piercing gets infected? If you notice signs of infection, such as excessive redness, swelling, or discharge, contact us immediately. We’ll provide guidance on how to treat the area and may recommend visiting a healthcare professional if necessary.

15. Can I get pierced if I’m pregnant? For safety reasons, we do not recommend getting pierced while pregnant. It’s best to wait until after your pregnancy to ensure a smooth healing process.
